Since installing the 5kW solar PV system back in 2017 Damon has seen his electricity bills drop from $750 per quarter to $200.
“We’ve had no issues with the system in the 2 years of having it. During the day we set timers on some of our large appliances but we (Damon, wife and two children) still use quite a bit of energy at night. We get a bit back from the 17c FIT for our excess energy that goes to the grid.”
